From the Castle Inland Port to revitalizing local corridors, Daron’s leadership is bringing investment, jobs, and opportunity home to Merced County.

Daron’s leadership has brought millions in funding for infrastructure, housing, transportation, and economic development including the Castle Inland Port, Atwater-Merced Expressway, and Black Rascal Creek flood project.

Public Safety:
Daron McDaniel has always stood firmly behind the men and women who keep Merced County safe. He’s delivered competitive pay increases and fought to give law enforcement the tools they need all while responsibly managing taxpayer dollars. With public safety making up 80% of the County’s discretionary budget, Daron ensures resources are prioritized wisely to keep our communities safe without compromising fiscal responsibility.

Daron McDaniel believes every family in Merced County deserves safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and great places to live and play. He’s delivered projects like the Beachwood-Franklin County Park, supported local healthcare initiatives, and pushed for better roads and infrastructure.
